Life-Size Whale Gallery in Nanjo-shi

Zamami will be officially ringing in a new year of whale watching on December 19th at the Cave Cafe in Nanjo City, Okinawa.  The following three days will feature a gallery of life-size panel prints of underwater whale and coral photographs from December 20-22.  For those of you on the mainland who want to check out a unique cafe and have a chance to experience some of the majesty of Zamami’s whales and underwater world, it might be worth a trip over to Nanjo-shi’s Valley of Gangala: Cave Cafe.

The cafe, as one might gather from the title,  is in a cave.  For the few of you who have already had the experience of visiting a cafe situated inside of a cave, I would still recommend going just to say that you are a cave-cafe regular and to get a sampling of Zamami’s whale-watching season.

Set up for an event, the cave cafe provides a unique afternoon tea atmosphere.
